Gen Art is excited to announce the return of New Garde presented by Crest 3D White to New York Fashion Week this February 2012.

New Garde is the perfect opportunity for emerging designers with a few years of experience to be featured in a cutting edge, high-profile runway show attended by press, retail buyers, stylists, celebrities and the Gen Art consumer audience, all courtesy of Gen Art and participating partners.

New Garde will grant three emerging fashion designers the opportunity to take their careers to the next level by showing on the runway at New York Fashion Week. These three designers are more experienced than those we showcase in our Fresh Faces in Fashion shows, and have the opportunity to present a larger collection (20-25 looks) on the runway.

Gen Art has showcased many talented emerging designers over the years in both runway and vignette format. Alumni include Zac Posen, Rodarte, Rebecca Taylor, Raquel Allegra, Phillip Lim, Vena Cava, and most recently Ann Yee and William Okpo.

WHO CAN APPLY?

Fashion designers who have been in business for 2-7 years, will be producing at least 20 looks for their Fall 2012 collection and have shipped and sold at least two collections to at least three department stores or boutiques. Crest 3D White

TICKETS:

Gen Art Members will receive 2 complimentary tickets to the event. In addition, celebrities, press and key fashion industry members will be invited.

The evening will include a post-show reception.
