As the home of TAO nightclub, you might assume that The Venetian specializes in everything wild, but its repertoire is much more diverse. Just visit the Grand Canal Shops, which offer a unique experience of strolling the cobblestone pathways under the domed, sky-painted ceiling or ride in an authentic gondola down the canal. Spend at the upscale shops or watch the street performers while dining in a cafe. The recently opened poker room is a new attraction to the hotel and is one of the largest in Vegas. Hotel rooms are gold, red, and blue with canopy draped beds and some suites include sunken living rooms. Catch a show--either the wild Blue Man Group (an almost unexplainable experience) or the haunting Phantom of the Opera. And of course, don?t pass on partying at TAO.
