This some-what of a "hole in the wall" restaurant will suprise you with its amazingly fresh sushi. Located in the heart of Hillcrest, you will find that the head chef, Kazumi Yokoyama, is one one the most well known in San Diego and has been at it for ages. Just try such unusual items as: flash-grilled tetaki (albacore); salmon skin salad; a Fantasy Roll of red snapper, salmon and crab. Seating in the restaurant is pleasant enough, but the action is clearly at the sushi bar. Here you can watch as the great chef and his son (Alex) work closely to create some of the most incredible creations you could ever dream of!
