San Diego’s South Bay, Bonita, introduces a swanky new restaurant and lounge. The remodeled cozy Bonita Store restaurant is now the upscale Dolce Restaurant and Lounge. However, Bonita isn’t turning Gaslamp yet—despite Dolce’s upgraded look, the simple space and hearty Mexican and seafood menu remains the same.
But Dolce is bringing a new vibe to the Bonita suburbs. Dolce features white leather lounge areas, posh VIP treatment and bottle service, upgraded jazz, hip-hop, and house music selection, and a revamped nightlife atmosphere.
Dolce Restaurant and Lounge is the dual-creation of Phil Berdeski and Emerson Nowotny, the former owner of 221 Lounge and Restaurant. The combination of real Bonita roots and subtle upscale amenities, Dolce is guaranteed to be a sweet success.
