On January 26, San Francisco Opera General Director David Gockley, joined by Music Director Designate Nicola Luisotti and Chairman of the Board of Directors John Gunn, announced the Company’s 2009-10 Season – Luisotti’s inaugural season as San Francisco Opera Music Director – at a special reception in the historic War Memorial Opera House Rhoda Goldman foyer before a distinguished gathering of press, the Company’s board of directors and donors, civic and corporate leaders, cultural arts directors, and members of the Bay Area diplomatic corps.
