Inès de la Fressange hosted an exclusive in-store brunch and private shopping event at the new Roger Vivier Bal Harbour Boutique on Wednesday, December 2, 2009. In keeping with its policy of international expansion, the French House of Roger Vivier pursues its ongoing, global boutique opening by inaugurating its second store in the United States, following launches in Paris, London Hong Kong, New York and Milan.

Present at the grand opening festivities was Inès de la Fressange, the ambassador of the Roger Vivier brand, whose support is part of bringing the echo of new Parisian spirit filled with eclecticism and fantasy to Miami. Joining de la Fressange, chic guests, including Dana Shear, Jennifer Valoppi, Jilian Sanz, Raquel Watters, Marissa Toccin, Francesca Halpryn and Jennifer Sazant lunched on mini quiches, mimosas and other petite bites. Pink and red roses enveloped the pristine space and signature candles wafted throughout the boutique setting the mood for shopping with sophistication and style.

The fabulous Roger Vivier brunch was set amidst 1,000 square feet showcasing the universe of the Brand including each season’s collection, limited edition product and the Haute Couture collection. Roger Vivier considered art as one of his major sources of inspiration in his designs and was known for his eclectic interiors. The boutique is a combination of modern and vintage including floor to ceiling millwork and painted walls. Shoes as well as bags, small leather goods, jewelry and sunglasses, all benefit from a lighting effect similar to that of an art gallery. Built-in alcoves made in Plexiglas also contribute to this unique presentation. These creations mingle with furniture reminiscent of pieces found in a Paris antique store or commissioned from contemporary artists.
