NANETTE LEPORE BAL HARBOUR CELEBRATES JULIA CHAPLIN’S “GYPSET STYLE”


MIAMI, FL – May 28, 2009 - On Wednesday, May 27th Miami’s most stylish gathered at Nanette Lepore in the Bal Harbour Shops to celebrate Julia Chaplin’s “Gypset Style” published by Assouline. Hostesses Camille Diaz, Kristen Munroe, Natalia Sanchez, Daniela Swaebe and Nicole Castellano sported pieces from Nanette Lepore’s newest collection.

Guests had the opportunity to privately shop Nanette Lepore’s latest collection and have their book personally signed by “Gypset Style” author Julia Chaplin. Nanette Lepore proved to be the perfect setting for the event as her current ready-to-wear collection reflects the true gypsy spirit she cultivated as a child traveling with her family, a style that combines effortless elegance with one’s individual savoir-vivre. While perusing the boutique’s extensive array of clothing, shoes and accessories, guests enjoyed luscious bite-sized deserts, and the recently launched Prosecco from Martini & Rossi- the leading name in Italian winemaking and a purveyor of the highest quality wines. The lucky guests received a Nanette Lepore gift card inviting them to come back and shop.

“Gypset Style” features some of today’s most influential style makers expressing their unique fashions, by combining the wild and unconventional ethos of a gypsy with the sophistication and speed of the jet set. About Nanette Lepore
Born in Youngstown, Ohio, Nanette produced her first couture look at the tender age of nine. Ms. Lepore completed her undergraduate studies at Youngstown University, and later attended New York City’s venerable Fashion Institute of Technology.
