On Monday, November 16, Veronica Trenk, Managing Director, Bulgari USA and Vivian Pfeiffer, Southeast Regional Director, Christie’s, hosted a fabulous cocktail party to celebrate Bulgari’s 125th anniversary at the Bulgari store in Bal Harbour Shops. At the elegant cocktail party, guests including Belkys Nerey, Laurie Jennings and Veronica Cervera sipped on champagne and enjoy hors d’oeuvres including curried chicken tartlets with shaved coconut and crushed peanuts, lemon-chives tuiles topped with smoked salmon and crème fraiche and mini tenderloin of beef with tamarind orange glad. Guests also previewed Bulgari’s 125th anniversary auction collection which consists of 11 one-of-a-kind jewelry creations and 7 limited edition timepieces that were on display, and, guests were able to place absentee bids on items. On December 8, 2009 at Christie’s in New York City, the 18 extraordinary creations will be auctioned off. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to Rewrite the Future, Save the Children’s worldwide campaign. In addition, guests were able to purchase a silver ring that Bulgari created exclusively to support the Rewrite the Future campaign. The ring is available in Bulgari stores worldwide until December 31, 2009. For each ring sold, $60 will go to the campaign.
