BECKLEY BOUTIQUE OWNER MELISSA RICHARDSON AKKAWAY WITH ACTRESS SARAH CARTER HOSTED ‘BE CHIC IN PINK’ EVENT
TO SUPPORT THE BREAST CANCER FUND
WHAT: Beckley Boutique owner and entrepreneur Melissa Richardson Akkaway teamed up with “CSI Miami” actress Sarah Carter to host “Be Chic in Pink,” an all-pink party to support the Breast Cancer Fund. Guests enjoyed manicures and shopping, while sipping pink champagne and nibbling on delectable cupcakes. Guests who spent $200 or more received a gift bag, which included items such as premier skincare products from CellCeuticals, as well as special edition pink tweezers from Anastasia and intimates by Cosabella - both in honor of breast cancer awareness. Fifteen percent of all proceeds from the event went to the Breast Cancer Fund.

The Beckley Boutique embodies Melissa Richardson Akkaway’s modern concept called The Beckley Experience, which features personal shoppers, celebrity stylists, tailors, a relaxation area and an intimate garden. “Be Chic in Pink” showcased the boutique’s unique atmosphere as well as honored the Breast Cancer Fund’s cause.
