Electronic masterminds THE CRYSTAL METHOD are proud to announce their featured performance at the "Art of Change Inaugural Ball" at the Mayan Theater in Los Angeles on Tuesday, January 20. The event aims to bring artists and creative thinkers from all communities together to celebrate the inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama.

This past September, The Crystal Method released a special 2008 election remix of their first ever single “Now Is The Time,” utilizing a sample of then-Democratic presidential nominee Senator Barack Obama’s “Now is the time…” statement from his speech at the Democratic convention held in Denver, CO. Fans are still able to obtain the song as a free download through The Crystal Method’s website at: www.thecrystalmethod.com. Corresponding artwork for the song by Shepard Fairey can also be viewed at the site.

As The Crystal Method, Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland have been fixtures on the electronic music scene for more than 10 years. Their debut album Vegas is now certified platinum. Other highlights in their long career include a Grammy nomination for 2004’s Legion of Boom and scores for the feature film London, as well as the theme to Fox’s TV series Bones. The duo just wrapped up work on their fourth studio album DIVIDED BY NIGHT, to be released later this spring.
