SAUSALITO, Calif. (July 26, 2010) – The Sausalito Art Festival has announced the invited artists and live music line-up for its 58th annual celebration, which showcases the prized works of nearly 300 of the finest artists across the U.S. and abroad – including more than 20,000 museum-quality, original works of art encompassing paintings, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, fiber art, fine glass, woodwork, 2- and 3-D mixed media and photography. The Sausalito Art Festival takes place over Labor Day weekend on Saturday, September 4 (10 a.m. - 6 p.m.); Sunday, September 5 (10 a.m. – 6 p.m.); and Monday, September 6 (10 a.m. – 5 p.m.) at Marinship Park along Sausalito’s breathtaking Mediterranean-like waterfront, just minutes from San Francisco.

More than 32,000 fine art lovers flock to the Sausalito Art Festival each year to enjoy a world-class collection of art, top-name entertainment, fun activities for children, great food and wine, premium beers, and a fantastic silent auction. Proceeds from the Sausalito Art Festival support local arts and community non-profits through grants, artist awards, scholarships, and community service programs.
