DESCRIPTION:
8/6: The Life Game(TM)
Volunteer audience members are asked questions about important events in
their lives, which inspire the actors to create scenes and songs.

8/7: Battle of the Bay Theatresports-Championship Final
The final match in our improv comedy competition with teams satirizing Bay
Area neighborhoods.

8/13: Warp Speed: An Improvised Trek
These are the voyages of a yet-to-be-named Starship. Its mission: to
boldly improvise where the television series has never gone before.

8/14: Sex and The City Improvised
The audience suggests relationships, locations, and material trappings to
create an original show inspired by the popular TV series.

8/20: The Naked Stage
The charm and power of classic American theatre meets the exciting,
unpredictable nature of improv.

8/21: Improvised Shakespeare
The audience supplies the title and the story takes off from there-using
the language and themes of the Bard.

8/27: Critical Choice
A play with a unique twist! At one crucial point, a single story splits
into two parallel stories...with unexpected results. Fully improvised and
inspired by the audience.

8/28: SF vs. LA Theatresports
BATS Improv's annual grudge match: an improv comedy competition against
our Los Angeles archrivals.

9/3 & 9/4: Special Guests: Impro Theatre's "Jane Austen UnScripted"
The essence of Austen's brilliant and timeless romantic comedies and
social satires is brought faithfully to life by this expert team of funny
and gifted actors.

9/10 & 9/11: Special Guests: True Fiction Magazine
True Fiction Magazine, inspired by the over-blown passions of the 30s and
40s pulp novels, takes improvised theatre to new heights.

9/17 & 9/18: Improv Roundup
Old and new friends, all acclaimed Bay Area improvisers, perform with
members of the BATS Main Stage Company for a special night of spontaneous
theatre.

9/24 & 9/25: Special Guests: 3 For All
The popular improv trio returns to the Bayfront Theater for two nights
only!
