In 2009, the Around the World in 80 Sips™ event series drew its 
inspiration from the recently released Bottlenotes Guide to Wine:
 Around the World in 80 Sips (Adam’s Media, October 2008) and came on 
the heels of its nationwide book tour which featured events attended
 by hundreds of wine enthusiasts sponsored by The W Hotels and 
Citysearch.

The overwhelming success of the Around the World in 80
Sips™ event series in 2009 has led Bottlenotes to continue the
consumer tasting events in 2010.

 In San Francisco, Bottlenotes gives local wine enthusiasts an 
affordable opportunity to taste wines from traditional and emerging 
wine regions around the world—including France, Italy, Spain, South 
Africa, California, Israel, Lebanon and even Thailand—as well as
sample Artisanal Premium Cheese, participate in a raffle to benefit
 Spark, and meet local winemakers.

Tickets are available for $45 (limited early bird) and $60 in
