Are you LA actors looking for a place to study or do you know an actor who needs a place to study?

Are you looking for a new and exciting place to study acting? The Gloria Gifford Conservatory is the place to be! I have personally been studying with Gloria Gifford for exactly five months now and I have loved every minute of it. There really is no better teacher to learn from than somebody who has been on Broadway, been in Movies, and has been on Television. The beauty is she is still doing all of this today! She is still in this industry working and she is still getting out there and auditioning just like the rest of us! This is great because you will get the chance to work with a teacher who is still current and is not basing her teachings on what the industry was years ago, but what the industry is right now. Gloria does not only teach you how to be the best actor you can be, she also teaches you how to succeed in this industry and how to play the game! The Saturday TYRO Beginners class is for people who are just beginning the journey of an actor. The Saturday class provides discussions on ways to succeed in this industry and also focuses on cold reading technique. The Sunday Advanced Scene Study Class is for actors who have been working for a while and these actors get the chance to have scenes assigned to them and have them put up in class for Gloria to watch, critique and tell you one on one what needs to be worked on to advance your skills as an actor. The Wednesday night class is for both classes to meet up all together. The Wednesday night class includes more inspirational discussions and more guidance about the industry. The Wednesday night class also varies and you never know what will happen. Since I have gotten here, we have had guest speakers from the industry come to class, we have had top agents and managers come and give us their insight of this industry, we have watched movies, we have done play readings and we have even gone to see a play in Downtown Los Angeles. We also have weekly movie assignments for the entire class to watch and discuss on a weekly basis. There is never a dull moment here at the GGC, so if you are an actor who is serious about pursuing a career as an actor, please don’t wait, start immediately! Bud Light Party Cruise Re-Cap

Well, it was a long weekend of partying, drinking Bud Light and beach-lounging, but now that the ships have docked, it seems like it's time to return to the real world. It's true, we partied with November 2008 Playboy cover-model Rachelle Leah, did some snorkeling, explored the island-life of Nassau, went backstage at the O.A.R., Barenaked Ladies and All-American Rejects concert and danced under the stars on the Majesty of the Seas. Now if only there were another weekend to recover from the fun of this weekend. We hope everyone had a great time (if the pictures and video weren't proof enough), and hopefully we'll catch you on the next Bud Light Party Cruise.

O.A.R., Barenaked Ladies and All-American Rejects Rock Out at a Private Island Concert

Both ships dropped anchor outside the private island of Coco Cay, which looked a lot like a tropical summer camp … for adults. Small, brightly colored cabins were scattered around the island, offering everything from snorkeling rentals to parasailing services to restroom facilities (always useful). With lots of Bud Light around and the sun shining down, everyone was ready to get the party started as the concerts kicked into high-gear.

The stage was set up along the shore of the beach, where partiers could get up close to the members of their favorite bands as they performed both classics and new songs. (Of course, us 944 kids scored V.I.P. passes, where we watched the show from the cabanas adjacent to the stage. We know you’re jealous.) O.A.R. kicked things off, getting the crowd in the mood for dancing and singing along, followed by the Barenaked Ladies, who threw in enough jokes to keep concert-goers in a great mood. The All-American Rejects ended the show, and we’re glad, because after a day in the sun, we needed a boost of high-energy to keep us ready for a night of partying back on the cruise ship. If you want our advice (and who doesn’t?), if you’ve got to go to a concert, we say doing it on a private Caribbean island is the way to go.

We Came, We Saw, We Snorkeled

As scary as Jaws may have been, that didn’t keep us out of the water. The snorkeling excursion started at the port, where approximately 30 cruise-goers rode a pontoon boat out to the edges of the shore. On the ride out, we passed elaborate, sprawling mansions with massive, sleek yachts parked along the coastline. The most impressive pad? The duo of Oprah’s house (ahem -- estate) and her adjacent guest mansion (or so our tour guide told us). Also in the neighborhood are Barry Bonds’ and Michael Jordan’s oceanfront mansions. Lucky S.O.B.s.

When we arrived at the designated snorkeling area, the first person to jump into the water came up gasping, “Ohhh it’s freezing!” Great. Now there’s a fantastic way to convince first-timers this was a good idea. OK, we admit, the water temperature was a bit chilly (well, it is November after all), but after a few flipper kicks and underwater views of the brilliantly colored schools of fish swimming among the coral formations, no one seemed to mind. With special inflatable snorkeling vests (think of a passive version of a life jacket), staying afloat was easy. Now if only we can master the use of the underwater camera …

Sunshine and Shopping in Nassau

At almost precisely 11 a.m., just as the daily schedule foretold, the massive Majesty of the Seas pulled into its assigned slot in the port, seemingly easier than most of us can parallel park. All around the harbor, palm trees swayed in the breeze, waves crashed up against the jetties and candy-colored buildings with white trim stood tall in the distance. Welcome to Nassau!

Bikini-clad sunbathers already found their retreat at the pool on the upper deck, perfecting their tans while watching guys challenge each other in the Men's Belly Flop contest (yes, you read that right), but we decided to head out and explore the island. Before leaving the ship, we signed up for snorkeling classes (hello, what better excuse to hop in the ocean?), which take place in the afternoon, giving us plenty of time to peruse the nearby boutiques. The island houses many of the outposts that American shoppers will find familiar. (Fendi, Cartier and Starbucks are all within walking distance of the port; and thank God, because a double espresso is sooo on the menu after a long night of partying.) Of course, we were a bit surprised that each store is located in brightly colored, Caribbean-style buildings, as though these iconic brands themselves have also gone on vacation. Hey, if Fendi can pull off canary yellow, it’s good enough for us.

Halloween on the High Seas

As the sun set on the ocean and night rolled in, costumed partygoers headed up to the top deck of the Bud Light Party Cruise for the poolside Halloween party. Spandex-clad superheroes, busty pirates, sexy shipmates and naughty Girl Scouts danced under the stars as they drank Bud Light. The costume contest had partiers competing for prizes: $100, $50 and $25 credit (we’re thinking it’s going right to the bar tab), and they found creative ways to get the crowd revved up to cheer. Between the Bud Light kings enthusiastically spraying the crowd with beer to an amorous boyfriend popping the question (his girlfriend said yes, by the way), it was a night to be remembered (or not remembered, as the case may be).

Well, it’s time to put away the costumes and get ready for a day of shopping, sightseeing and sunbathing in Nassau, Bahamas, tomorrow. Make sure to check back and find out what we’re up to on the island. In the meantime, take a look at the gallery from tonight.

Bud Light Party Cruise Heads to the Bahamas

The Bud Light Party Cruise left Miami at 5pm and kicked off the event with a huge party - over 2,000 Bud Light party-goers gathered all around the pool and jacuzzis on the top deck of the ship. Internet connectivity is sparse, but the fun certainly isn't. After partying it up with the cruise-goers, we had an exclusive video interview with next month's Playboy cover model, Rachelle Leah -- look for it at 944.com as soon as bandwidth allows.

We were able to get some great photos up, but have to cut this post short as we have more partying to do.. the Halloween costume party is about to start, and we definitely don't want to miss that! Nor do you, which is why we'll be shooting photos and videos of all of the hottest costumes and beautiful people.

Thanks Bud Light, you sure know how to throw a party!
