In lieu of writing about anything having to do with Valentine’s Day, I’m focusing simply on music before the day of ardor on Sunday. Despite my older brother inheriting all the musical genius in the family and leaving me without the capacity to play a musical instrument (he plays guitar, bass and keyboards, as well as sings, DJs and produces), once in a while I am entrusted to give my own 2 cents on talent or simply passed along what’s been circulating the Internet and iPods on the DL.

Yesterday, I was lucky enough to comment on “My Desire” by ei8ht with vocals by Samantha Newark (my thoughts: I love it and we even “dance tested” it in my office right now -- kinda of reminds me of a Tiesto and Kirsty Hawkshaw collaboration). Today it was a link to a new unreleased Z-Trip remix with Slug from Atmosphere. It’s Z-Trip, which means it’s incredible.
