Some weeks are better than others. This week kicks a little extra ass due to the approaching SF Chocolate Salon, a March 21st gathering at which chocolatiers from around the world will converge on the Herbst Pavilion to showcase their wares and increase the City's collective fat percentage.

San Francisco plays host to hundreds of conventions, festivals and trade shows every year and these events rarely result in mountains of killa swag being delivered to the 944 office, but these choco-nuts are sharing the love in a big way. Yesterday alone, we received SEVEN deliveries. Organic chocolate, dark chocolate ganache infused with Guinness beer, white chocolate blended beverage Mix, cayenne pepper and rosewater chocolates to name but a few.

We're grateful for the much needed print week sugar high so we're sending love back: mark those calendars for March 21st. Judging from our samples, tickets will be well-worth the $25 face value

(FYI, the far and away office favorite to date are CJ's Bitz - bite size chocolate dipped pretzels hand rolled in English toffee chips. Tell 'em 944 sent ya.)
