Today started off as a normal day in the office. I setup my MacBook, and started blogging next to my partner in crime ZackRadio. I noticed ironically that he was blogging about the same topic as me: The Weekend Warriors. We decided to split the blog between the two of us, and create a mega-post dedicated to the Weekend Warriors and their new spring/summer collection.

De$i and Bri are the owners of Weekend Warriors, a streetwear clothing line based out of Northern California. The theme behind their clothing is very intriguing, and sends a strong message to women preaching independence. The duo are motivated by female expression and have been quoted saying, “We are the everyday girl, nothing more, nothing less. At times women feel constricted as to what they can say or do. We love to express it any way possible designs, music and through our blog. We are the representation of the ladies that don't take no back chat.”

As a guy I feel inspired by their journey, and what they stand for. I have great respect for people who tackle their dreams with 110% effort, and I look forward to their work in the future.

Lovell,

ZackRadio- For the last two years, I have been following these two creative designers. They call themselves The Weekend Warriors. Which consist of De$i and Bri. The first time I caught wind to these young ladies was when I saw their first shirt. Which was the “Pussy Prevails” piece, which will be a classic, just like the Supreme T-shirt. Mark my words. Ever since then they have been on top of their game. These two ladies have honestly took girl power and women’s streetwear too the next level. They have even affected different things in my life. From some of the music I listen to Dom Kennedy, Carter, Pac Div and Dizzy. They even convinced me to go pick up a classic Lil Kim album. Lil‘ Kim should give them a check for that. Most recently they have put there creative minds together and come up with “Project Mayhem” basically describes their 09 spring and summer release. Keep up the good work ladies.
