Why would you not atleast put something about rates? I mean just a range- are we talking Lohmanns or Louis Vuitton- ya know?
Just a thought.
Can we also get more pictures...that would be nice!
Hi Everyone - IRON is a high end boutique gym that offers the very best of fitness and service. Check out more information at www.ironla,com.
Whatever....this is the same knucklhead that closed his gym just down the road last year. expert I dont think so
Iron is awesome. Sounds to me that Scott is the knucklehead who is probably associated with one of the competitors of this gym. If he knew John he would know he is a top shelf trainer and operator. Karma will be a bitch!
Just had a look, very cool and shiny-new. Staff are friendly and no sales pitch. Not many people in (Monday 5pm) so if you don't like crowds ... Got a free pass for a try-out. Didn't need to ask. Rates are okay too, about $80 monthly with no contract.
I like that it's not busy but I guess it's early days. The high ceilings should make it okay when the numbers grow. Cool and clean, pretty good parking on site and I got a free pass too! Still under contract at Golds, but this place looks like a Bentley showroom in comparison.
Went by today. Really liked the feel. the only quirk is there are nice bathrooms and showers, but they are not very large. Doesnt really matter to me as the cool vibe, layout and the staff was really nice and i did a training session with one of their trainers, and I must say, it was one of the best sessions Ive done. I joined on the spot.
I like that the showers are private. Call me ol' fashioned, but getting your duds off in a communal shower sends my mind back to summer camp. Met with John who was very attentive, not pushy, but clearly in love with the gym (he oozes enthusiasm). Didn't have time for a workout but got a pass for a freebie at the weekend.
I went by Iron the other day to check it out, and I have to say - - better than I thought! There is free parking in the back, and I walked into a serious and beautiful gym. John Damon was actually training someone when I was there, but he took time to say hello to me and the staff couldn't have been nice or friendlier. I actually cannot wait to start boxing with Holly, their head boxer. In one of these reviews someone said the bathrooms are nice but small. Yes, this is true, but I don't think it matters because its' a boutique gym - - they limit the membership. I cannot imagine there ever being a problem with getting shower or mirror space. I joined up!
I have to say that I love the sport of boxing and when a gym showcase that as their theme,it keeps the fight spirit going for it's members. I mean they have a room devoted just to that and a class that is a boxing boot camp; with a strong trainer that push you to be the best both in the class and in life, I tried the class on Monday at 6:30pm and once more on Saturday at 10am and both times it ROCKED!!It's called Boxervarte and the trainer has even worked with the IRON MIKE TYSON!!I mean if you want to be pushed please take a shoot!
Scott is right... This guy John is a knucklehead and a big lump of cheese! what a BS'er!
