Chandler parlayed his voracious love of books in 2006 into a site that has attracted 1.6 million other readers with a similar passion. Goodreads.com is just that — a suggested good read. Users connect with other bookworms and talk about their favorite fiction or non, and rate their reads for others to see. But he is an engineer at heart, and loves tinkering and listening to customers in order to make the best product possible. Chandler graduated with a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Stanford University, where he always believed he would one day build cars.
