The founder of Ticketexchangeusa.com, a Web service for people to purchase a variety of tickets ranging from sporting, concerts to theatrical events all around the world, has married.

John and Maya Langbein wed in the Bahamas and hosted their reception at Montelucia this past weekend. Besides his largely successful Web site, John is also well known for his charitable contributions. John was the recipient of the Foundation for Blind Children’s Visionary Award in 2007 for his philanthropic efforts.

“This award has significant meaning to me because the Foundation for Blind Children has such a special place in my heart,” he says. “The past decade in which I have been involved with the FBC has been both meaningful and memorable. Every time I walk through the halls of the FBC, I see teachers actively engaged with children. Every new family I meet has a story to tell about how the FBC gave them hope when they needed it most. This is an organization with heart.”

As the recipient of many awards, the community feels the same toward him.
