America’s Best DJ: Pauly D WHAT?!
Is hell finally freezing over? Are pigs now able to fly? Then how the hell did Pauly D from MTV's reality show "Jersey Shore" move into the ranks of America's Top 10 American DJs? I liken this to Snooki winning an Emmy nomination for her acting role in “Jersey Shore.”
DJ Pauly D is completely riding the “Jersey Shore" coattails. He has not played enough DJ gigs to build up a true fan base to even be in the Top 100 DJ list. This is not just my mere opinion but a FACT given that the majority of the "legit" DJ nominees on the list are on the list for being legendary and not half-skilled, fist-pumping MTV trash reality stars.
Traditionally, the Top 10 spots in the American DJ poll are reserved for the legends — DJs who have legitimately honed their skills and built their fan base over many years, not overnight.
Last year's No. 1 pick for Top American DJ was Z-Trip, a self-made legend. He is considered the father of mashups and is a featured DJ on Activision's music video game “DJ Hero.” Will Z-Trip be handing over the torch to an MTV-bred, reality-go-lucky DJ? I certainly hope not.
DJ Pauly D was voted in by "Fist Pumping" fans who have no clue what a skilled DJ is or sounds like. So in order to maintain the sanctity of America's Best DJ, I really hope DJ Pauly D thinks this through and drops out of the race entirely. DJ Pauly D... You need to earn it legitimately and you know it. So please drop out!

We all know that this guy isn't considerate enough to drop out. It's sad that people even voted for him. Maybe there should be some way of eliminating stupid votes with a short questionnaire.
