Target is partnering with celebrated womenswear and accessories designer Jason Wu to introduce an affordable, limited-edition collection of women's apparel, handbags and scarves in February 2012.
"My collection for Target embodies my signature aesthetic of feminine sophistication, with a mischievous nod to the 1960s," Wu says. "I've had an incredible experience partnering with Target, and I am looking forward to bringing these affordable designs to women across the country."
Ranging in price from $19.99 to $59.99 for apparel and $19.99 to $49.99 for handbags and scarves, Jason Wu for Target will be available February 5 through March 6, 2012 at most Target stores and Target.com.
"Jason Wu has quickly established himself as one of the most influential designers of today," says Trish Adams, senior vice president of apparel and accessories for Target. "His talent for creating modern yet feminine designs translated beautifully into an affordable collection that our guests will covet the moment it's available."

With the launch of Apt2B, savvy Los Angeles urban dwellers can now completely furnish their homes, from floor to ceiling, before even setting foot inside. Southern California's newest virtual furniture and home decor store allows young, stylish Angelenos to deck out their humble abodes with home furnishings on their wish lists, rather than having to settle for second-rate variations of those items.
Because the brand chooses to operate solely on a local level (and forgoes the unnecessary expenditure of leasing retail space and shipping nationally, and instead warehouses everything locally), it is able to provide its customers with a selection of more than 1,400 sleek home goods at a fraction of the market's average price point, and with quick shipping and installation.
Customers are also able to enjoy a fun and unique shopping experience, due to the brand's devotion to selling a lifestyle, rather than just products. It offers an index of citywide tips for Angeleno urban dwellers, sharing the hottest bars, restaurants and events, as well as a section for gift ideas for "him" and "her." The brand's instant appeal has also become synonymous with its cheeky flash sales, in which it frequently pairs out-of-the-box promotional sales with pop culture events, such as the Emmy Awards. It also holds Happy Hour Fridays and Deals of the Day, offering items at even lower prices for a short period of time.
The brand also personifies its shopping experience via blog posts from characters such as "The Guy in 2A" and "The Girls in 2C," each of whom daily offer advice and tips from decorating your home to living in Los Angeles. And Apt2B allows customers to purchase customizable room packages, allowing them to completely furnish their rooms, from soup to nuts, with a couple clicks of the mouse.
Founder Mat Herman sums it up: "We've basically gone ahead and made outfitting your apartment as easy as ordering a pizza."
